What is better than a smile on a child's face?

A week ago, Braeger held its second annual Foster Parent Appreciation day, co sponsored with Lutheran Social Services here in Milwaukee. It's inspirational to us to see the foster moms and dads that offer their time and love to children who need it. We're glad we have the opportunity to help say "Thank You" to them.

This year the weather was beautiful for the event, and attendance reflected it. On this sunny day, over 100 families attended and spent time with local and national celebrities, playing games, and having fun. Someone once compared children's laughter to ringing bells, and they were right. Except, I think children's laughter is even more beautiful. It feels great to have been able to bring a bit more into the world.
