Braeger, Jeep, Shorewood, and Operation Gratitude: A winning combination!

One of the things most people love best about holidays is the time spent with family, friends, and loved ones. Since many thousands of Americans will be far from home this holiday season, Operation Gratitude decided to step up its work to make these times as joyful as possible for those brave men and women deployed in America's aremed forces.

For those unfamiliar with Operation Gratitude, it is an organization that
seek[s] to lift troops' morale, and bring a smile to their faces by sending care packages to service members overseas. OPERATION GRATITUDE care packages contain food, toiletries, entertainment items and personal letters of appreciation, all wrapped with good wishes of love and support.

Through Collection Drives, Letter Writing Campaigns and Donations of requested items or funds for shipping expenses, OPERATION GRATITUDE provides civilians anywhere in America a way to express their respect and appreciation to the men and women of the U.S. military in an active, hands-on manner.
Jeep, recognizing the importance of what operation gratitude does, prompted its dealerships to become the first national drop-off locations for Operation Gratitude. Naturally, Braeger took the ball and ran with it. Thankfully, Jan Zehren and the 7th and 8th grade
classes of the Shorewood Intermediate School were there to help out!Braeger Jeep is an official drop-off point for Operation Gratitude
Providing our largest single donation of the holiday Operation Gratitude drive, students and families from the Shorewood Intermediate School and Lake Bluff Elementary School donated 25 cartons of items!

Everyone's working hard!Everyone's excited to be helping!
And the troops appreciate it!
